- Carrie Dorsey - Director and Founder
of Computer Recycling Initiative since spring 2004. She
grew up in New England where the bottle deposit laws
helped foster her awareness of recycling obligations
at a young age. She has worked in marketing and sales
in New York City and Richmond and has served on several
non profit boards. Under her leadership CRI has held
3 recycling events at area schools, saving 60 tons of
electronics from landfills.
- Mark Emblidge is Vice President of the
Virginia State Board of Education, former Chairman of the
Richmond School Board, and was appointed by Governor Warner
as a member of the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB).
He was appointed by President Clinton to serve for 8 years
as the Chairman of the National Institute for Literacy.
Emblidge is also the Director of the Virginia Literacy
Foundation and Director of Communities in Schools of Virginia.
- Aurelia Lewis began Lewis Media in
1998. Lewis specializes in strategic media planning and
tactical advertising campaigns. Her successful career includes
12 years with The Martin Agency where she was a vice-president,
associate media director.
- Dave Menges is Head of the Lower School
of St. Christopher’s School where he joined in 2001.
Prior to St. Christopher’s he spent 10 years at Greenwich
Country Day School teaching. He was the Program Coordinator
for REACH, Inc, a program for African American and Latino
boys interested in attending independent schools. He is
also an instructor for Outward Bound School where he was
Course Director from 1989 -2001.
